WGAB partners with the school and Athletic Department to support resources and fundraising needs of our sport teams and student athletes
Team Fundraising
While the school provides a foundation, the staff and the facilities for our Athletic programs, team-specific fundraising covers the essential "extras" that make a season possible, including uniforms, tournament fees, officials, and specialized equipment.
How Teams Fundraise
- Peer-to-Peer: Our current fundraising platform is Vertical Raise. By reaching out to extended networks—not just parents—we maximize support while minimizing the individual burden on families. A Vertical Raise fundraising campaign may be launched at the start of each season as determined by the coach.
- Direct Donations and Corporate Matching: Donations can be made directly to the program(s) of their choice by visiting the Online Student Store. Please consider making a donation of any size to help us reach our financial goals for 2026-27.
- Checks can be made to Willow Glen High School and the note should read “Students Name - Athletic Team Name”, ex: “Jane Smith - Girls JV Volleyball”. Corporate Matching is an awesome way to give more.
- To help support additional hours and additional training room modalities, please consider donating to "All Sports Club" Those funds will be earmarked for our Athletic Training Services.
- Concessions: Teams can earn up to $500 by volunteering at the concession stand during football season courtesy of the Athletic Boosters..

Meet our Athletic Trainer
Jenna Gomes Athletic Trainer's Calendar What does the Athletic Trainer do? The Athletic Trainer is a critical part of the Athletic Department. Our trainer is contracted by the district and funded by the Athletic Boosters. The Athletic Trainer is a health-care professional who is specifically trained to care for injuries and illnesses suffered by student-athletes during practices or contests. As the initial point of contact for a student with a medical issue, the Athletic Trainer may provide emergency care, CPR, first aid, and are also trained to evaluate, treat and rehabilitate injuries, manage concussion protocols and advise on return-to-play decisions. |
