High School Athletic Trainer

We are thrilled to support the return of a dedicated Certified Athletic Trainer to the Willow Glen High School athletic program. Our trainer plays an essential role in keeping our athletes safe, functioning as a vital liaison between students, parents, coaches, and the healthcare system.
​Key areas of support include:

• Injury Management: On-campus availability during practices and games, dedicated office hours for athlete visits, and focus on injury prevention and rehabilitation.
• Game-Day Safety: Presence at select competitions, prioritizing higher-risk sports.
• Safety Standards: Establishing venue-specific Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and carefully monitoring return-to-play decisions after an injury.

Team Fundraising Support

Did you know teams can earn funding just by helping us out? WGAB organizes and fully stocks the stadium Concession Stand for home football games. High school athletic teams can earn up to $500 by volunteering to staff the stand. We provide all the necessary training and adult supervision, and we share the profits directly with your team's account.

Grants for Facilities, Equipment, & Uniforms 

Coaches can request supplemental funding support from WGAB for essential needs that aren’t fully covered by team fundraising or the school district. 

These grants are designed to:

• ​Enhance Safety & Pride: Ensure all athletes have access to safe, high-quality gear and updated uniforms that reflect Ram pride.
• Upgrade Infrastructure: Improve fields, courts, and training areas to provide a safe, high-quality, and competitive environment
• ​Expand Athletic Opportunities: Provide vital start-up funding for new sports teams, helping to expand the athletic programs offered at both the middle and high school levels​

Every year, WGAB recognizes exemplary graduating student-athletes who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, sportsmanship, and academic integrity. Supported entirely by our membership dues and community fundraisers, these annual college scholarships help our Rams take their next steps toward higher education.
